When to use it
One photograph becomes one output frame, with no removed or interpolated frames. Duration and frame rate must be positive; the rounded-up count may make the final video slightly longer. These sample settings are not camera recommendations. Interval and exposure must be positive; exposure must not exceed the start interval. Check writing time and the camera’s actual behaviour too. Include both files when saving RAW+JPEG. File size per photo must be positive; available time and space must be nonnegative.

Calculation method
Round duration × frame rate up to whole photos. N photos have N−1 start-to-start intervals. Add the last exposure, then divide seconds by 60. Storage = photos × MB per photo ÷ 1000. Subtract each requirement from the available allowance.

Change one input
Change final video length from 20 to 30 seconds. Photo count, shooting time and storage increase together. Negative remaining time or space means the plan exceeds that allowance.

Results are displayed to at most two decimal places; later formulas use unrounded values.
Scope and limits
- Interval means exposure-start to exposure-start; 1000 MB = 1 GB.
- Available time excludes setup/packing; free space is usable capacity.
- Check exposure, write time, trigger behaviour and battery separately.
Download and import into Calvance to edit the numbers. The canvas does not reject every invalid input; check the stated ranges.
How to import your template
- Save the file. Choose Download template and save the .calvx file to Files on your iPhone or iPad. From a computer, you can send it to your device with AirDrop.
- Open Import. In All Canvases in Calvance, tap the add button to open the template screen, then choose Import.
- Choose the file. Select the saved .calvx file to create your own canvas. Importing uses one canvas from your allowance.
- Edit and check. Check the results against the worked example, then add your numbers. Duplicate the canvas to keep different versions.
