When to use it

Count materials consumed by this bouquet, not the cash spent buying whole bunches. Usable leftovers remain inventory. Stem count is a nonnegative integer; other inputs and markup must be nonnegative. Example prices are hypothetical.

Calculation method

Flowers = stems × price per stem + fillers + foliage. Labour = minutes ÷ 60 × hourly rate. Add wrapping and explicit loss, then multiply cost by (1 + markup). A 50% cost markup is not a 50% sales margin.

Change one input

Increase the main-flower price by 1 in the example currency per stem. Flower cost, total consumed cost, quote and budget balance update. Loss is a manual allowance and does not automatically rise with stem price.

Scope and limits

• Consumed materials, not full-bunch purchase spending.
• Markup is based on cost; it is not sales margin.
• Excludes rent, utilities, tax and delivery; this is an internal quote.

How to import your template

1. Save the file. Choose Download template and save the .calvx file to Files on your iPhone or iPad. From a computer, you can send it to your device with AirDrop.
2. Open Import. In All Canvases in Calvance, tap the add button to open the template screen, then choose Import.
3. Choose the file. Select the saved .calvx file to create your own canvas. Importing uses one canvas from your allowance.
4. Edit and check. Check the results against the worked example, then add your numbers. Duplicate the canvas to keep different versions.
